I hope we have enough days of laughter and remember when all we feel is sadness
I hope we remember the days we fought fearlessly when we feel we have no fight in us
I hope we remember the good feeling from opening our hearts up to love when we have been betrayed.
I hope we remember the days of peace during times of war and we have hope that better days lie ahead
I hope we remember days of winning when our heart wants to give up as a result of failure
I hope we laugh enough for the days tears overload our eyes.
I hope we remember the beauty that emerged from the ugliness on the days when we see no beauty in the ugly
I hope we remember the types of friends that led us to the flowing river on the days when we decide to choose friends that will make us shed our goals
I hope we remember the importance and uniqueness of being different on the days when the disease of uniformity plagues us
I hope we laugh enough for tomorrow and never forget our winnings are in our losses
I hope joy and sadness never overwhelm us enough to make us forget our maker
I hope betrayals never make us forget the miracles called human beings
And I hope we never fail to see the miracle even in the dark
I hope we have enough lights to drown the darkness
And our hearts are strong enough to never give up
Our hands strong enough to never stop holding that of another
Our feet strong enough to never stop walking with others
Our eyes strong enough to never stop shining
Our ears strong enough to never stop listening
Our mouths strong enough to never stop speaking the truth
Our words and acts strong enough to never stop lifting others
Our shoulders strong enough to never stop being there for others to lean on
And our whole being strong enough to never stop believing we are enough
May we never stop seeing the miracles that our lives are!
I have been privileged to meet some amazingggg writers and luckily for me, I tend to partially live with one. My younger sister, Oyindamola is one of those ‘pen connecting with paper’ writers who I have been privileged to meet and have stalk me. She is no stranger to us on this blog as I’m pretty positive that you would have read at least one of her write ups posted on this blog. If you have not, please help yourself by clicking here.
My baby girl just released her first novel. Yasss!!! Love and God is out for our utmost enjoyment guys. I am so excited about this book and trust me, you should be too. Kindly read the synopsis of the book…
Life had been good for Feyikemi. Her job was good, the cash great. The dashing guy who laid next to her day and night was everything: sweet, considerate, caring and very attractive. He satisfied all her needs but one: the need for a higher power in her life- God. The desire to have both God and man is plausible. But what happens when the man makes her choose?
The book is quite cheap, it’s a quick and interesting read. So kindly get your copy here and tell friends (not saying a friend, because I’m sure you have atleast one) and acquaintances about it. Let’s support this beautiful, sixteen year old writer who is making a mark in our generation.
Thank you. Have a great week ahead and please, don’t ignore the words before this one.
