What faith is…

Finally!!!! That beautiful short girl will stop invading my space and posting on my behalf. lol! So this is officially my first post on MSB. Yayyy \=D/ and I’m excited about that in a weird way. Thanks guys for reading this blog, it’s quite encouraging.

For the next two weeks or maybe three, we will be having an extensive look at the topic ‘FAITH’. I feel it’s an important topic because faith is really needed in life. It’s what will make you get anything from God and really, anything from Humans as well. So I would really love for you to join me in this study and to contribute. Let’s share our testimonies, experiences all accredited to faith. Have a beautiful day darlings and watch this space like Mayowa would say :*

******faith 1

Faith to me is standing on God’s word and acting accordingly, even in the face of challenges or physical evidences. The force behind faith is the word of God, faith is not a leap to the dark but, it is a conscious act on the eternal truth of God’s word. Therefore it is possible to have very strong reasons for your faith; you don’t have to flounder in faith. “Fight the good fight of faith………..” (1Timothy 6:12 KJV).

When you act on your faith and you do not doubt you will get results, you actually get those results and perhaps even more. Unfortunately, many Christians find it hard to have that unyielding faith because of the many problems they are facing. They have believed God but, there are other voices of reasons: what they can see, feel and perceive in the physical realm against the voice of faith. The voice of faith is the eternal, infallible word of God. When the voice of physical things you can see and perceive rises above the voice of your faith, then your faith will give way. Many times, problems look bigger and persuasive that your physical senses and the things you can see are saying to you that “its impossible, you don’t have what you believe that you have by faith, you can’t do it” the truth is, you can rise above that hopeless situation and believe God’s promises for your life.

faith 2Step out in faith and the voice of your faith will shut down the strong and persuasive problems that stand against your miracle. The good news is “……..whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23 KJV). So faith has a unique capability of making a man a complete opposite of what he naturally his. You don’t judge faith by face for example, Peter denied Jesus in the face of a damsel and later began to declare the gospel. Faith makes the weak strong.

faith 3Faith is a tiring force; therefore for faith to grow there must be adequate and proper nutrition and exercises, which is the word of God. (i.e. believing in God’s word, acting upon the word of God and confessing it). Faith is in levels, It is said in the books of Romans 12:3KJVfor I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith”. When the measure of your faith is weak you crumble before challenges, you show no resistance and WEAK FAITH will only produce weak result Romans 4:19 “and being not weak in faith…………..”

Love,

Truly, faith is the bedrock of almost everything, if not everything. To me, if you don’t have faith, you can’t be grateful. If you don’t believe God will do what he has already said he will do, you won’t thank him in advance and you might not get it.
Its also explicitly stated that “the just shall live by faith”. So really, faith is needed.
